Halloween Hocus Pocus

Join the School for Witches and Wizards at The Milky Way this halloween and take part in all things spooky from Saturday 21st October to Sunday 29th October (school half term).

There will be plenty to do including a fancy dress competition, themed show and special spooky dodgems and the little monsters will also be able to take part in wand making, spell writing & casting, broomstick riding and potion making.

Star Wars Day

Calling all Star Wars fans!! Storm Troopers and other characters from the superb Star Wars films are returning once again to The Milky Way over the half term holidays. You'll be able to meet and greet your favourite characters and have pictures taken with them and all of this is included in the price of normal entry!

Bonfire Foreworks Party

Wrap up warm in your woolly hats, scarves and gloves and head to The Big Sheep's BIG Bonfire! This well organised and very popular event gives you the chance to toast a marshmallow, wave your sparklers and see the BIGGEST and BRIGHTEST fireworks around for miles! You can bring your very own Guy along and take part in the Guy Fawkes competition and the evening begins at 5pm with the a special Toddler Firework Display at 6pm and the Main Fireworks lighting the skies at 7.45pm. If you're feeling a bit peckish there will also be tasty burgers, chips and hot dogs as well as the family favourites; toffee apples, popcorn and candy floss!

Clovelly Herring Festival

Clovelly used to be very popular for herring fishing and the annual Herring Festival is held to raise awareness of these tasty fish and encourage carefully managed fishing as carried out by our local fishermen.

There will be a variety of herring dishes in the quay kitchens or at the Harbour Bar to try, cookery demo's, live shanty and sea song singers, stilted entertainers, other local food and craft stalls, a photographic exhibition of Clovelly herring fishing, a Herring Hunt, face painting, henna tattoos and National Trust event-themed, free craft activities. Admission charge includes all entertainment.

Xmas Farmers Market

Stock up on all your favourite Christmas treats including free range turkeys, organic meats, sprouts on stalks, cheeses, cakes, puddings, biscuits, fudge, chocolate, bread, fish and Christmas trees. You'll be spoilt for choice with what's on offer at the South West’s largest indoor Farmers’ Markets. Markets will run on Saturdays 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd December 2017.

Boxing Day BBQ

Join the locals at Clovelly Village for a Boxing Day Barbecue on the quay. There is free entry to the village so you can blow the cobwebs away with a brisk walk on the estate and then pop along to the barbecue where you can enjoy live music, mulled wine, and a treasure hunt if you fancy it.
