Pet Friendly Accommodation
Enjoy a family holiday at Beachside Holiday Park and bring your dog with you. Beachside is a pet friendly holiday park in North Devon, by the beach at Westward Ho! With a range of static caravans that are suitable for dogs, the location is ideal if you want a family holiday with your dog in North Devon, with easy access to the beach and plenty of walks nearby. The Shearwater Deluxe, Razorbill and Seagull pet friendly caravans and our Waters Edge apartment accommodate up to 2 dogs.
Even though your dogs will need to be kept on a lead whilst on the park itself, you'll be spoilt for choice with all of the local walks available to you. The Country Park will provide your dog with 250 acres of grassland to explore plus, there's also Westward Ho! Beach with its 2 miles of golden sand. From May 1st - 30th Sept dogs are not permitted in the bathing area but at the North end (Sandymere), dogs are permitted all year round and will have a fantastic time. Westward Ho! Tors and the coastal footpath is also a stunning walk, so you and your dog will have plenty to explore.
Many local attractions also welcome dogs as well as numerous local pubs which means you'll never have to leave your dog behind when you want to go and spend a family day out together.
Please note: This accommodation is limited and very popular so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Pet Rules
We go to great lengths to ensure that everyone who stays with us enjoys a clean, fresh environment, and we always clean our accommodation and public areas more thoroughly after pets have visited. There are obvious challenges to this, and we ask that pet owners help us to maintain the high standards on our parks for the next guest by following our guidelines:

You may only have 2 dogs (other than any of the breeds subject to the Dangerous Dog Act 1991).

We understand dogs bark, particularly in the presence of other dogs. We would prefer dogs who are particularly agitated or excitable to be taken off park to burn off some energy, so that other customers are not unduly disturbed (we will trust your judgement as dog owners on this). There is no total ban on barking but we'd like to keep it from ruining the relaxed atmosphere in the park.

We provide dog beds, blankets as well as dog bowls, treats and poo bags. Please do not allow pets to sleep on the beds.

All the usual rules around dogs on the beach/countryside apply - keep dogs on a lead around livestock, and please ensure waste is removed from public areas and disposed of safely. There are a number of waste bins around the park.

All pets must be supervised by and under the control of you, or of a responsible adult in your party, at all times. This means you may not leave any pet or animal unsupervised in the caravan or anywhere on the park at any time. Nor may you leave any pet or animal under the supervision of any person aged under 18. These rules apply even if the pet or animal knows the park well and you believe them to be well-behaved.

If you do not supervise and control any pet or animal, we are likely to ask you to remove it from the park straight away. This is because we cannot allow the safety of others to be put at risk.

If you see another pet or animal anywhere on the park which does not appear to be supervised by and under the control of a responsible adult, or whose behaviour gives a cause for concern, please tell us straight away.

You must not exercise dogs on the park.

You must keep any dog on a short lead at all times on the park.
Nothing in these Pet Rules prevents you or any member of your party from bringing an assistance dog to the park, or from using the dog exactly as at home, if this is required to support a disability and Assistance Dogs UK or any successor body has issued an Identification Book or other appropriate evidence.
There is a small surcharge of just £20 per pet, per week, and these funds go towards the additional work and materials needed to ensure other visitors (even those with pets of their own) are not affected by the presence of pets at our parks. We will keep this surcharge low for as long as possible.

Our Waters Edge apartment is a brand new addition to the park for the 2024 season and has something for everyone.
This delightful two bedroom ground floor apartment offering partial sea views, is nestled just metres away from Westward Ho! Beach and offers a fantastic holiday experience.
The open plan layout effortlessly connects the lounge and kitchen areas and creates the perfect social space for relaxation and entertainment. Here you can relax on the sofa and watch your favourite film on the impressive 65" Smart TV.
The kitchen is very well equipped with integrated appliances, ample storage space, and a large island where you can enjoy family meals together.
Retreat to the master bedroom where you'll enjoy a great nights sleep in the extremely comfortable king size bed and wake up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore. The ensuite shower room provides a good sized shower and designer fixtures.
The second bedroom offers twin beds and ample wardrobe space.
The main bathroom comprises of a bath with overhead shower, WC and sink.
Step out onto the enclosed courtyard and immerse yourself in the hot tub, the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy coastal living.
We accept up to two dogs in our Waters Edge Apartment.

Seagull Pet Friendly

Our Seagull Pet Friendly holiday caravans are ideal for smaller families looking for great value for money. These centrally heated caravans are light and welcoming and provide a compact but stylish base from which you can explore everything that Westward Ho! has to offer.
The open plan living area boasts attractive soft furnishings which make this space warm and inviting. The lounge and dining area flow into the galley kitchen which boasts contemporary units alongside all of your essential appliances including an oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, utensils and crockery.
There is one bedroom in our Seagull Pet Friendly accommodation. Pillows & duvets are provided and bed linen is available to hire. There is also a shower room.
Shearwater Deluxe Pet Friendly

Our Shearwater Deluxe Pet Friendly accommodation is centrally heated and was introduced to the park in 2023. These superb holiday homes have been tastefully decorated and have a cool 'Botanical' colour scheme that runs throughout the open plan living area.
The kitchen is modern and fitted with shaker style units and comes fully equipped with a 4 burner gas hob, glass fronted oven and grill, fridge and microwave. A fixed dinette to the side of the kitchen provides plenty of space to dine.
Our Shearwater Deluxe Pet Friendly accommodation can cater for up to six guests. There are two bedrooms- one double and one twin, there is also a pull out double bed in the living area. Pillows and duvets are provided and bed linen is available to hire. The shower room has a white three piece suite with modern shower cubicle.
All of our Shearwater Deluxe Pet Friendly accommodation have a exterior gated deck where you can enjoy delightful sea views.
Razorbill Pet Friendly

Our centrally heated Razorbill Pet Friendly accommodation is simply fabulous! This modern two bedroom holiday home is full of elegance and charm making it perfect for family holidays and you can even bring the dog!
This superb holiday home is light and airy and has a classic colour scheme running throughout. The living area offers plenty of seating and a pull out double bed. The dining area can seat all of the family comfortably and leads to the contemporary kitchen that is well equipped with everything you will need and includes a integrated oven and grill with four ring hob, fridge and microwave.
Moving onto the bedrooms and the master bedroom is tastefully decorated and comes with a vanity area, fitted wardrobe and an interconnecting door to the family shower room. The twin room has two single beds and ample storage. Duvets and pillows are provided and bed linen is available to hire.
The shower room houses a three piece white suite with shower cubicle.
Our Razorbill Pet Friendly accommodation is great for those family get togethers or simply for when you just want to kick back and unwind.

Our Albatross Wheelchair Accessible Pet Friendly caravan has been purpose built and includes a number of features such as ramp access, wider doorways and sliding doors in order to help make your stay with us relaxing and comfortable.
The open plan lounge/diner/kitchen provides plenty of space to allow free movement around this holiday home. There is a comfy seating area where you can relax and a dining area where the whole family can come together to enjoy a meal.
The galley kitchen is wide enough to allow wheelchair access and is well equipped with low level units, sockets, switches and appliance controls. There is also a cooker, fridge, toaster, microwave and an ample supply of utensils & cutlery.
The Albatross Wheelchair Accessible has two bedrooms, the twin bedroom has two 3ft single beds and the Master bedroom has two 3ft single beds that can be pushed together to make a double when required. There is a hand grab above the bed to assist when pulling yourself up.
The wet room shower is equipped with hand rails, shower seat, WC and wash hand basin that are all at a lower height to enable access to wheelchair users.
This holiday home is centrally heated to ensure you are comfortable all year round. Pillows & duvets are provided along with bed linen. If you require assistance with bed making then please let us know.

Our Sandpiper Pet Friendly caravans are a great choice if you're planning on bringing your four legged friend along with you on holiday. This accommodation makes a great base for exploring all that North Devon has to offer with a modern open plan living area living area, well equipped kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms.
This delightful caravan offers plenty of seating in the living space with a dining area set to one corner. The galley kitchen is compact and fitted with a range of modern units and appliances which include a cooker, fridge, toaster and microwave.
There are two bedrooms in our Sandpiper pet friendly holiday homes, one double and one twin room, pillows and duvets are provided and bed linen can be supplied at a small additional cost. There is also a good sized shower room.

Our Waterfront apartment is the perfect choice for holiday accommodation if you are looking to indulge. There is a spacious, open plan living area with 55" Smart TV and Bluetooth sound system. Sliding patio doors lead to the balcony which offers fantastic sea views.
The kitchen/dining area is modern and well equipped with built in appliances, coffee machine, crockery and utensils.
The Master bedroom at The Waterfront boasts an ensuite shower room & sliding patio doors that lead onto the balcony. In the twin room, the beds can be pushed together to make a double if required. Both bedrooms have TV/DVD players, dressing table and plenty of storage.
The family bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath with shower over, hand basin and a WC. Complimentary toiletries and towels are also supplied.
Dedicated parking bays are provided. A maximum of two dogs are permitted in this accommodation.

Our Waterside apartment is a luxury holiday home situated in the delightful village of Westward Ho! The Master bedroom boasts a king size bed and ensuite shower room. The twin room has 3ft single beds that can be combined to make a double if required. Both bedrooms have TV/DVD players, dressing table with stool and plenty of storage.
